These are psychotherapists and counsellors. Although there is a separate category for sex- and sexuality-related practitioners, most therapists in this category will certainly discuss sexual issues, and many will work with them.
Hello there, I’m Nat, I’m a queer counsellor and an Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I offer short or long term therapy, and I am currently with clients online only. I work with and welcome people from all different backgrounds and life experiences (18+). I have a background in working with sexuality and gender. Many of my LGBTQ+ clients also experience neurodivergence such as ASD or ADHD and I have done additional training and self-education in this area.
Hello, my name is Tom and I offer Person-centred counselling online for the LGBTQ+ community. If you are interested in change then I’d welcome you to book in for a free 20 minute call. We can discuss where you’d like your life to be heading, what’s getting in your way and how to navigate through.
My personal approach is integrative, which means that I draw from a number of counselling models and techniques, including psychodynamic, existential and humanistic. My therapeutic stance is adaptable to your individual needs and I offer both short and longer term work. I am an experienced and qualified BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I am working in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework. I have a Psychology (BA) degree and have undertaken comprehensive training and gained my diploma (PgDip) and Masters (MA) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regent’s University London.
I offer a more directive, therapeutic approach that allows you to greater understand yourself, as well as question and appreciate your triggers and their origins. I have found that taking this approach allows individuals to make progress much quicker, as well as develop a deeper understanding of self.
Psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic counselling for children, adolescents and adults in Lancaster and Staveley to connect with your innate strength, belonging, and calm.
Considering accessing therapy? I offer a safe and understanding space to talk about what’s going on for you, whether that’s focused on your sexuality and gender or something else. Therapy can support you to understand yourself better, to explore new perspectives and practise compassion for yourself and others. I’m a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work face to face in central Bristol and offer sessions on a weekly basis.
Welcome to my profile. I am a BACP registered Humanistic Integrative therapist offering either short or long term counselling/psychotherapy. I create a safe space for you to explore who you are and where you’ve come from and how you’d like to be. All of you is welcome. We’ll mostly be talking but we will also take time to check into the body and to breathe and allow space to feel and be. I also offer supervision for other therapists.
I have worked within mental health services for over 10 years and have seen the benefit counselling and psychotherapy can have on an individual’s mental health. I believe having a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings greatly improves a person’s mental health. I am trained to work psychodynamically.
Hi I’m Daniel (He/Him). I’m a counsellor who provides support for people that are struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety and grief. I work with people seeking support with difficult life decisions and challenges in their relationships. Often people attend because they are feeling ‘stuck’; finding themselves arriving at the same place, despite trying really hard to change. Perhaps they are drinking, shopping or eating to cope or escape. The sex and relationships they’re having has stopped feeling safe or fulfilling. They’re doing things to ‘feel better’ while avoiding people, places or decisions due to fear or shame.
Hello – I’m Sean, Life is complex, messy, and for many of us in the LGBTQ+ community, often layered with questions of identity, belonging, and resilience. As a gay/queer therapist I offer an affirming, attuned space where your full self is welcome. Whether you’re exploring gender, sexuality, relationships, grief, or navigating trauma and transition, I bring a creative, soulful, and relational approach that meets you where you are.
