I am a qualified counsellor based in central Bristol.   I run my private practice from my home in Clifton – I primarily work face-to-face, although I do have some online clients.            

Hey, I’m Addam, a queer counsellor and psychotherapist working in Bristol and Bath. I also offer online and outdoor therapy sessions if you would prefer either of these. Whatever your reasons for seeking out counselling, I’m here to listen, aim to understand and to work collaboratively with you to create a space where you can process and explore what you need to at your own pace. Coming to therapy can be a daunting enough experience, without having parts of our identity stigmatized, infantilized, and misunderstood. I aim to create an understanding and warm environment where you can show all the parts of yourself free from judgement or having to explain basic terminology. I bring compassion and humour to the therapy space, and hope to build a collaborative and nourishing relationship with you, centering your unique experiences and perspective on the world.

One-to-One and Relationship Counselling There are times when life can seem overwhelming and difficult to cope with. At these moments we all need support and counselling can give you the time and space to explore difficult issues and find new ways of being. Counselling offers a chance to express how you feel, share safely, and be supported in taking  risks. You may want to explore a specific event or ongoing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma or your relationship. So whether you come on your own or as a couple, counselling can give you the  space to understand more about yourself,
