I’m Dave, a registered BACP integrative therapeutic counsellor. I have experience working with adults of all ages, backgrounds, gender identities and sexual orientations. I provide a safe, confidential space to explore whatever is going on for you and help to facilitate change in your life. It may be something very specific – like relationship problems or a major life event like loss, or a more general feeling that you would like things in your life to be different. Whatever the issue, counselling can help.

I am an experienced counsellor supporting individuals across Greater Manchester for the past 8 years. Since the pandemic, I have moved some of my practice online and now support individuals across England & Wales. I work with whatever a client brings but have a particular interest in supporting people with their relationships and mental health.

I see both couples and individuals looking for insight, change or a deeper understanding of themselves. I have shedloads of experience, both inside and outside the counselling room. I came out in my 20’s, and have a special interest in the process of people finding and embracing their core sexual and gender identify.  I also work with people within a broad range of consensual, non-traditional relationships. 

I am a fully qualified integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor which means I am trained in a variety of theoretical approaches that can be adapted, depending on the client needs. I work with adult individuals and couples face to face from a private room in central Surbiton. I have experience with transgender clients in various stages of transition, families of a person transitioning and LGBTQI+ affirming therapy along side work with couples in monogamous and non-monogamous relationships.
