Allow me to introduce myself: I am a father, a son, a husband, a brother, a good friend, a counsellor and psychotherapist. I graduated from a BACP Accredited Institution, from which I was given an Outstanding Personal Development Award. After this, I went on to setting up my own private practice: https://www.hdcpsychotherapy.com/ I currently provide counselling services to MIND – a large Mental Health Charity in the UK, as well as seeing clients privately. I am BACP Registered and adhere strictly to their Ethical Framework guidelines. Prior to working as a counsellor/psychotherapist, I obtained a degree in Law and a Masters in Business Administration, having worked in the corporate field for over 25 years. Experience and approach:

The approach I offer is of an integrative nature and it is totally dependent on the needs of my clients. A psychotherapist, in my opinion, needs to be a skilled craftsman, ‘sensing’ the client and offering what they better respond to. My areas of study are: Humanistic, Psychodynamic, CBT and Existential.

I also incorporate aspects of Dr. Gabor Maté's 'Compassionate Inquiry' Approach into my practice; having attended a number of his workshops, including the 'Compassionate Inquiry Approach to Mental Health and Physical Illness' led by himself.
