About the Therapist
My Approach
My work is rooted in:
- Attachment‑focused therapy – exploring how early relationships shape present patterns
- Trauma‑informed practice – supporting the nervous system, not pushing past it
- Neurobiological understanding – helping clients recognise and regulate changing emotional states
- Relational depth – therapy as a trusting-based, co‑created space
- Queer‑affirming practice – celebrating identity, fluidity, and lived experience
Drawing on humanistic and psychoanalytic foundations, to help clients understand how early experiences and nervous system adaptations shape present‑day patterns.
I work gently but with intention. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can breathe, be fully yourself, and not have to explain or justify your identity or experience.
LGBTQ+ Focus
I have extensive experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients, particularly those navigating:
- identity exploration and pre- and post- transitioning
- family or cultural conflict
- complexities of queer relationships and attachment
- trauma linked to sexuality or gender
- belonging, community, and chosen family
- queer expression and confidence
As an Irish therapist living between Ireland and London, I’m especially attuned to the intersection of queerness, migration, cultural identity, and the emotional complexities of living between places.
Having lived this cultural experience myself, I understand the complexities of identity, belonging, and transition. I bring a grounded, empathic, and culturally attuned style shaped by years in people‑focused roles before training as a psychotherapist.

Who I Work Best With
Clients who feel drawn to working with me often describe themselves as:
- wanting a therapist who “gets” queer experience without needing education
- seeking depth, not quick fixes
- carrying trauma that shows up in relationships, intimacy, or the body
- navigating transitions, grief, or identity shifts
- longing for a steadier sense of self
If you’re someone who feels things deeply, who has learned to survive by being strong, or who is tired of holding everything alone, you’re welcome here.
How I Work
Sessions are online, offering flexibility for clients. I work at a pace that honours your nervous system and your story. We focus on small, sustainable shifts — the kind that build real change over time.
