Megan Lamming- Psychosexual Therapy
About the Therapist
I work with many LGBTQIA+ clients and provide an affirmative space for people of all genders, sexualities, and relationship structures, including non-monogamy. I aim to create an environment where all aspects of your identity and experience are welcome.
Before working in private practice, I worked within an LGBTQIA+ charity supporting individuals and groups around mental health, sexuality, and identity, including those experiencing trauma, sexual violence, or relationship difficulties.

My approach is integrative, which means I draw from different therapeutic models depending on what feels most helpful for you. These include person-centred, psychodynamic, attachment-based, and transpersonal approaches.
In practice, this means I don’t follow a fixed structure—sessions are guided by you and what feels most important to bring. Some people arrive with something very specific, while others aren’t sure where to begin. We can take the time to explore things together.
I aim to offer a space where you can bring parts of yourself that may feel difficult to share elsewhere. This might include feelings around shame, confusion, or vulnerability, as well as experiences that feel complex or hard to put into words.
I understand that our mental health doesn’t exist in isolation, and I hold in mind the wider social and cultural context we live in—including the impact of marginalisation, stigma, and identity.
