I recently turned 70, and my life has taken several twists and turns. I've been a counsellor for more than 15 years, and on a journey of exploration for several decades. I have various kinds of privilege (such as being white and male), but I've worked hard to understand other experiences and narratives, and to get to know people who are different from me.

I trained as a therapist with Pam Gawler-Wright at the BeeLeaf Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. I don't follow any one single approach to therapy; my approach is pluralistic, and I think different clients need different therapies at different times. I can offer a range of therapy resources and techniques, but I believe the key is a good relationship between the therapist and the client.
I do not have any set fees, or even a sliding scale. I ask clients to pay what they feel they can afford, and this mostly ranges between £20 and £60 per session.
