About the Therapist
As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, I know something about navigating spaces that weren't built for you, and what that costs the body over time. Before retraining, I spent over a decade in corporate environments, which shapes how I understand burnout, masking, and the weight of lives spent performing.
I also work at Spectra CIC, a queer-led service in London specialising in marginalised identities. I'm in advanced clinical training at the Metanoia Institute, working within UKCP standards with a registered supervisor.
I particularly welcome enquiries from LGBTQ+ people, trans and gender-diverse folk, neurodivergent people, those in kink or BDSM communities, people practising polyamory and ethical non-monogamy, sex workers, and anyone whose life doesn't map neatly onto the mainstream.

I’m a counsellor and currently training as a psychotherapist on a UKCP-accredited master’s course in Integrative Psychotherapy. I am a member of UKCP and follow their guidelines of ethical practice.
More details about my background and qualifications can be found on my website: www.sabrinayasmintherapy.com
I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as a trainee and am supported by a UKCP registered supervisor.
It's possible to understand yourself quite well and still feel completely stuck. You might be carrying something that's hard to name - a sense that your body knows something your mind hasn't caught up with yet. That you've been coping for so long it's become the only gear you have, or that the version of yourself you show the world takes more energy to maintain than anyone can see.
My approach is somatic and relational. Somatic means I pay attention to what's happening in your body, what's being held, braced, or shut down, not just what's being said. Relational means the relationship we build is part of the healing itself.
I take a non-pathologising stance. For people navigating marginalisation or identities outside the norm, difficulty rarely lives inside you alone, it lives in the structures and relationships you've had to move through. That context is part of the work.
We might explore your relationships and how your history shapes them, questions of identity, sexuality or gender, the exhaustion of neurodivergence in a neurotypical world, what your nervous system has been carrying, or simply what it would feel like to be more fully yourself.
