Hello, I’m Zuzi, a queer-centred and trauma informed therapist. My approach is holistic, which means I will be curious about your whole life; from your inner world, to the people that surround you and the structures you exist in. Whether you know what it is that is causing you distress, or you feel lost and anxious and you don’t know why, I believe you have the answers within you and it is my role is to support you to find your way back to your inner wisdom, self belief and joy. I provide therapy online and sessions in nature.
I have an established practice working with young people (16-24) and adults. In terms of therapeutic approaches, I aim to create a solution-focused and person-centred drama therapy space that is confidential, safe, and non-judgemental. An appointment can be arranged with me online via Zoom, or face-to-face Â
I qualified as a Drama & Movement Therapist in 2003, and I have been practising for 20 + years. I started working with young people with learning disabilities and who were on the autism spectrum and many other additional needs namely OCD, ADHD, ODD etc. Over the years, I specialised my therapy work with young people who have been impacted by childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence. Now I predominantly work with adults, adapting the techniques I have used with young people to help support the inner child and opening the communication channels between all the different parts of us.
Are you going through a difficult transition? Struggling to make sense of relationships or experiences? I may be able to help. My name is Han (they/them), and I’m a queer, transmaculine therapist based in Edinburgh with years of experience counselling young people and adults. In the counselling room, I bring with me this clinical perspective as well as my own understanding of the world and what it is to be human.

Combining an intersectional lens with a trauma-sensitive approach, I help clients explore how their past and current relationships have shaped their understanding of themselves. Whether you’re seeking in-person or online support, I’m here to provide a compassionate and empowering space for your personal growth.
