I’m a non-binary and neurodivergent therapist, offering warm and affirming therapy to people of all backgrounds. I work to centre you, your feelings, your strengths, your experiences and your identity, whatever it may be. I use compassion and emotional exploration to help you build your resources and explore what’s troubling you. I work online and face to face in Sheffield.
I am a queer therapist and psychosexual counsellor, working extensively in the field for more than a decade, with both individuals and partnerships/couples. Therapy can be about grieving and reclaiming the parts of self that have been lost or taken away, both from a personal (familial) and a systemic (political) level. I aim to decolonise my practice, including therapy itself: therapy may not be the only tool for self reflection and healing, but it can be a useful space to start. I look forward to collaborating with you.
I believe no one has to stay stuck in the situations they find themselves in – there is hope and there is help. Sometimes life can feel small or overwhelming. You might feel caught in patterns of thinking or living that no longer fit, or something may have happened that’s changed the way you see everything. If this feels familiar, I can help. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can talk things through, gain insight, and begin to move forward. I’m fully qualified, BACP registered and work with people in Brighton and online.
Do you feel tangled up in your thoughts and unsure where to start? I can help with that. I’m a qualified counsellor and a gay woman, and my own lived experience means I understand what it’s like to navigate identity, relationships, and not always feeling understood. I offer a calm, down-to-earth space where you can talk openly without judgement or pressure. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, relationship issues, or something you can’t put into words yet, we’ll work together to make sense of things. If you’re ready to feel more like yourself again, I’d love to hear from you.
***Available for new clients on Tuesdays and Thursdays*** I work with individuals and couples- providing a warm, calm, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, experiences, relationships, or life challenges. Whether you need a compassionate listener or a deeply reflective and analytical approach, I am here to support you. Every relationship has its challenges, but with the right support, growth and connection are possible. In couples therapy, we can work together on a range of issues, including improving communication, managing conflict, navigating relationship transitions, and healing from grief or trauma.
I’m experienced in helping people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness or sex and relationship difficulties. I’m a lead psychologist for NHS services and have a background in specialist services for sexual health. I understand how looking for a therapist can be daunting, possibly quite overwhelming. I therefore offer a free initial telephone consultation of 15-20 minutes. This gives us an opportunity to talk about what you’re struggling with and how I could help before deciding whether to book further sessions. I’m currently accepting new clients for online therapy on weekday evenings.

Hello, I am Juan and I offer talking therapy sessions. Therapy can be a meaningful process where uncovering links and revealing insights can give relief and alleviate suffering. Therapy can empower you to experience yourself as more alive and fresh. Therapy can also be tender, as it invites vulnerability and intimacy – that’s why it’s important to choose someone you feel safe with. If you get the sense you might feel safe with me, feel free to reach out. We can arrange a first meeting and take it from there.
