Hi, my name is Stephen, (He/Him). I am a person-centred counsellor and have experience of offering counselling to both adults and children. I have a wealth of experience working within addiction both substance based and behavioural, an extensive career working with young adults, children, and teenagers, as well as much personal and professional experience working within the LGBTQI+ community. I also have experience working with a range of issues including, anxiety, depression, stress, and substance misuse issues.
 I launched Longford Garden Counselling in January 2022 with the aim of providing a warm, comfortable, safe and confidential space to facilitate therapeutic change for adults (18+). I specialise in depression, anxiety and mental health issues linked to sexuality and gender identity, but the practice is open to all, including anyone who would simply like to learn about themselves to gain insight into who they are as a person. What’s important is a desire to grow and flourish in your life with a deeper understanding of self.
I work with GSRD clients, and have a lived experienced of asexuality and aromanticism, which are often much less visible in society. Clients come to me with presenting issues such as relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss, anxiety, stress, anger management, exploring sexuality, loneliness and connecting with others. You may also wish to explore your relationship to sex, perhaps considering whether you sit on the spectrum of asexuality

Hello there, I’m Nat, I’m a queer counsellor and an Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
