I approach each client with warmth, an open mind, and a sense of their unique perspective on the world. I particularly welcome inquiries from clients who may worry about judgement or misunderstanding, or who otherwise feel marginalised or under-served by the counselling profession. This includes people who embody gender, romantic and sexual diversity; people in non-monogamous relationships, who participate in BDSM, do any form of sex work, or who use psychoactive drugs. Although my orientation is heterosexual, I have lived in close community with LGBTQIA+ friends and family for many years
I’m Sebastien Black, a queer integrative therapist offering online support through Soft Focus Therapy. I work relationally and gently, drawing on Internal Family Systems, somatic approaches, and mindfulness to help you reconnect with yourself and your relationships. I specialise in supporting people exploring gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity (GSRD), and those navigating trauma, identity, intimacy, and life transitions. Alongside individual therapy, I offer affirming couples counselling — including support for LGBTQIA+ couples and non-monogamous relationships. I hold a gentle, non-judgemental space for you to explore trust, connection, communication, and growth together. You’re welcome exactly as you are — whether you’re
Hi, I’m Skye, an integrative counsellor, registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), reflective parenting group facilitator, grief tender and fellow human experiencing the beauty and pain of this world.  As a counsellor and person experiencing life’s ups and downs, my approach is to be alongside you in solidarity and with care, warmth and empathy, so that you don’t have to navigate it alone. I take a whole person approach that affirms all of your identities and experiences and incorporates your body, mind, heart and soul. I see clients online and in person in Brighton.
Hello, I’m Sam. Thanks for taking the time to read my page. People often describe me as approachable, thoughtful and easy to talk to. I value honesty, warmth and curiosity in the therapy room, and I’m here to support you in exploring what matters to you, helping you find clarity, resilience and a greater sense of self.  Â
I am a registered HCPC & BADth dramatherapist. I work across the UK and Italy with queer communities. I offer individual and group therapy, supervision, and consultancy. I describe myself as a citizen of the world, learning how to walk gently on Earth. My work brings together queer culture and eco response-ability with a soulful perspective. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors; walking, meditating, and expressing myself through creative languages.
I primarily work with intersectional identities and the difficulties that can come with these. My main areas of interest and experience are queer identities, gender (including cis, trans, non-binary, and those with DSD/intersex conditions), polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships, families with mixed ethnic and/or religious backgrounds, growing up as a third culture child, Kink/BDSM, disability/illness (including hidden), surviving domestic abuse, and difficult parented relationships. I also have a particular interest in the intersection of faith and sexuality/gender (especially Islam) and a lot of experience in supporting parents and partners of trans+ people through their unique and specific journeys.
My name is Julia Fry and I offer individual psychotherapy / counselling sessions online via Zoom. I work with adults, children and young people of all races, genders, sexualities, abilities, etc. My sessions are always client-led and I warmly accompany you to explore at your own pace and in your own ways in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Hi, I’m Jade (she/her) I am therapeutically trained in humanistic approaches with an emphasis on existential philosophy and how we experience emotions through the body. Though I work with a broad range of clients, my expertise lies within neurodiversity and I have worked within charities and organisations supporting people with varied and complex needs for over 7 years. Currently, I volunteer as a counsellor for an LGBTQ+ mental health charity. I’m passionate about providing access to therapy for marginalised groups and my community. I also draw from my background as a musician to collaborate with creatives, supporting you to overcome obstacles
Looking for a therapist can be a daunting experience, especially if things are tough for you right now, but you have taken the first step! I have experienced many times, both as a counsellor and personally in therapy, how people begin to feel less burdened and overwhelmed in their life when they feel really heard and accepted without judgement or criticism. I believe that the counselling relationship is a collaborative and dynamic process, and I am always receptive to feedback, as it can shape the dynamic between us. In therapy, sometimes things can feel worse before it feels more manageable.
I’m experienced in helping people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness or sex and relationship difficulties. I’m a lead psychologist for NHS services and have a background in specialist services for sexual health. I understand how looking for a therapist can be daunting, possibly quite overwhelming. I therefore offer a free initial telephone consultation of 15-20 minutes. This gives us an opportunity to talk about what you’re struggling with and how I could help before deciding whether to book further sessions. I’m currently accepting new clients for online therapy on weekday evenings.
