Welcome. I’m Heather (she/her), a BACP-accredited counsellor and advanced accredited Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversities Therapist working affirmatively with LGBTQ+ folks. Life can be overwhelming, and perhaps things are feeling too much right now, but you are telling yourself you *should* be able to handle it. Maybe you are not feeling fully or wholly yourself. Together we can uncover and explore what is causing you difficulty, and find a way through.
My name is Caro. I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years experience working in diversity and inclusion. I’ve helped people manage workplace stress, sort out who they are, explore coming out, work through the complexities of gender transition, grieve for their parents and partners and pets, shout their way through anger and frustration, and address their addictive behaviours. I offer therapy face to face, online via Zoom or WhatsApp, and by phone.
Allow me to introduce myself: I am an adoptive father, a son, a husband, a brother, a good friend, a counsellor and psychotherapist. People experience difficulties in all sorts of areas in their lives. These might be personal relationships, situations at work, problems at home, anxiety, low mood, ADHD, ASD, feeling stuck… You name it – I am sure you have yours! If these difficulties are getting on top of you or making you unhappy, it may be helpful to see a therapist. We see a therapist not because we are ‘crazy’, or because there is something wrong with us.
As a queer therapist who is involved in non-monogamous and kink spaces, I can help you explore these parts of your life in a safe and non-judgmental place. I understand and appreciate the struggles (and joys!) of queerness, polyamory and kink. I am committed to creating a safe a nurturing environment for my clients. I also understand that choosing the right counsellor can be difficult, so it’s important to make sure you feel comfortable and like we would work well together. That’s why, if you decide we’re not a good fit, you don’t have to pay for the first session.
I offer safe, non-judgemental and inclusive counselling and psychotherapy online. I am a Senior Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and a Psychologist, with clinical experience since 2010. Following extensive practice in London, I currently work online, offering sessions in English, Greek, or Spanish. I work with adults and couples dealing with a wide range of difficulties; individuals affected by DV, abuse, and trauma; and with our LGBTQI+ and neurodivergent communities. My practice is queer and trans affirmative, intersectional, trauma and dissociation informed.Â
Hello! I’m Katie and I own a very busy private practice in Boston Spa near York, Leeds and Harrogate with my three Sphynx cats. I absolutely love my work and you will never be just a number on my patient list; building long lasting relationships were people feel valued and cared for is critical to the way I work. I have faced my own therapeutic journey and healed from trauma and feel that this has given me more insight than any of my academic training and professional development. As an integrative therapist I will tailor your therapy specifically to you and
Hello and welcome. Whatever has brought you here today, I imagine you may have many ‘what ifs’ with you too. You may not feel as if you have any choice, power or direction in life, I can offer a space to explore what this is like for you and discover what it is you are searching for. Together we can walk through your inner world, always at your own pace, and you can get to know yourself a little better in the company of someone who is genuinely dedicated to understanding your issues.
I work with ancestral patterns and transgenerational trauma through hypnosis and spiritual self-development. This work takes the roots of an issue further back than our own lifetime and understands the deeper cultural and inherited beliefs we carry, allowing us to release or transform energy and beliefs which hold us back.
With regards to my life before the year 2000, I think it is sufficient to say that having dropped out of A level studies in 1972, I spent the next 28 years in a variety of life and work experiences. Some good, some bad yet now, in retrospect, I feel all have been meaningful in giving me the very necessary experience and knowledge of life’s ups and downs to enable me to do what I do now. My life experience, as well as my work in the community, has taught me how unique everyone is and how important it is
