Hi there, welcome to my profile. My name is Marion, and I am a fully qualified Person-centered counsellor, holding a Higher Professional Diploma in Counselling with Distinction. My aim is to provide you with a warm, safe and therapeutic environment, within which we can explore together your world and experiences. My awareness and understanding of diversity is at the heart of how I work, as I have
Hello! Are you looking to better understand your feelings of anxiety or stress and effective ways to deal with this and move forward? I have over 15 years experience helping LGBTQ+ adults with; anxiety, depression, navigating sex and relationships, building confidence, overcoming self-doubt and low self-esteem and facing decisions and navigating life changes. I am BACP Accredited Psychodynamic Psychotherapist (PgDip), Accredited Specialist Sexual Violence Therapist, and Certified Relationship Therapist (COSRT Level 5), working online, via Zoom, with individuals and couples throughout the UK. I integrate Jungian, mindfulness, body-psychotherapy and somatic trauma approaches into my clinical work, drawing from more than eight years of therapeutic experience in private practice, community and specialist mental health settings. I am sensitive to the interplay between wider societal context with mental and emotional wellbeing, and my practice is affirming of individuals and relationships across the spectrum of gender, sexuality and relationship diversity.
I am a UPCA accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor. Since 2011, I have worked as a psychotherapist and counsellor, support worker and group worker. As well as my private practice, I currently work for a young person’s charity supporting young queer humans navigate the many complexities inherent in growing up queer in a society that still ‘others’ – alongside the more ordinary complexities of what it means to be human.
Hello I’m Alex, a qualified person-centred therapeutic counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have a great deal of therapeutic experience working with LGBTQ+ clients including with relationships, anxiety, addiction, identity, family issues and dynamics, gender. Every client is unique and I will be keen to understand your own experiences and background.  I bring my experience in counselling and mental health from the sports, charity and corporate sectors. My name is Amy (she/her), a Level 5 trained integrative psychotherapist, and a member of the BACP, offering online counselling throughout the UK. I have been living out as a trans woman for 10+ years and have been working with clients for over 2.5 years. I specialise in working with transgender, complex trauma, and LGBTQ+ clients. My aim is to offer a professional and effective therapeutic service for trans and LGBTQ+ clients, without the need to explain, educate, or justify themselves, and without judgement, whether we are discussing gender and sexuality, or anything else.
I specialise in working with people from various backgrounds who are struggling with anxiety or depression. Much of my work involves exploring relationship issues, self-esteem, or the competing pressures of work and home. I know how hard it can be to open up, and I offer a space where you don’t have to put on a front. As a gay man, I understand how identity and minority stress can affect self-worth and mental health. I work integratively, tailoring my approach to suit your needs as therapy develops.
Welcome. Life can feel heavy or confusing, especially when you are carrying more than others realise. If you feel lost or stuck, therapy can offer space to slow down and reconnect with your true self. Reaching out takes courage, and even searching for the right therapist is already an act of self-care. I am proudly queer, and as a BACP registered and highly trained therapist I offer in person or online sessions, whatever works best for you. This is a confidential and fully accepting space to feel understood and move towards something lighter.
I’m an integratively trained, queer psychotherapeutic counsellor who offers both short- and long-term online therapy for adults across the UK and internationally. I work with a range of clients and have particular clinical and academic experience supporting trans and gender-diverse people. I often work with thoughtful, psychologically curious people who appear highly functioning outwardly but experience a rich and sometimes overwhelming inner world. Early relationships, minority stress, and other difficult experiences may impact this.
Are you looking for somewhere to think and talk in confidence about issues that are affecting your life and your happiness? Relationship issues – self-esteem – anxiety – depression… I have over thirty years experience as a therapist working with clients from all walks of life and with many different sexual and gender identities. I have carried out research into gay mens’ experiences of therapy, and know from first-hand experience that even though we live in supposedly enlightened times, there can still be a lot of ignorance and prejudice aimed at people who don’t easily fit in with whatever happens
