My name is Cat and I have been working with Gender and Sexual Diversity since qualifying as a counsellor in 2014. I have a particular interest in supporting trans youth and I offer online or telephone sessions to anyone aged 12 and over. I am Pink Therapy Clinical Associate and Advanced Accredited GSRD Therapist.

I work with individuals, couples and other pairings, exploring relationships. Whether it’s with a partner, family, friendships, work, or the relationship with yourself. Exploring how we see and experience ourselves in the world and how what we’ve been taught to believe our role is in it and affects us.  When we sit outside of those roles, how that influences our sense of self and worth, how we show up for ourselves and each other and how to unpick what is expectation and what is our authentic self.  

I’m an HCPC registered counselling psychologist who works integratively and focuses on building a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to be yourself and explore your struggles. I want to work with you without pathologising your experiences and while considering how the society we live in might affect our mental health experiences, especially for gender, sexuality and relationship diverse individuals.
