Hi, my name is Jo (she/her). I am a working class, cis gendered, Queer woman. Getting to know these, and many more parts of myself, continues to be a deeply personal journey of unlearning, healing and becoming.  We don’t need to identify in the same way for us to work together. Whatever the shape of your story you deserve to have a space where you don’t have to perform, explain or justify and can explore your version of self.

I am a BACP registered psychodynamic counsellor offering affirmative, inclusive therapy for LGBTQ+ clients. I provide a safe, confidential space to explore identity, relationships, anxiety, low mood, and life transitions. My approach considers how past experiences and unconscious patterns shape present challenges, while working sensitively with the impact of discrimination, stigma, and minority stress. I offer one-to-one counselling in a warm, collaborative and non-judgemental environment, supporting you to deepen self-understanding, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
