These are psychotherapists and counsellors. Although there is a separate category for sex- and sexuality-related practitioners, most therapists in this category will certainly discuss sexual issues, and many will work with them.

Hello. My name is Benoit, and I support clients in living happily and creatively, being more truthful about who they are, and developing satisfying relationships. Psychotherapy with me offers a trusted space and time that you may not find elsewhere in your life to explore who you are, how you are in the world, and the way forward.
Hiya, I’m Jay and my pronouns are he/they. I bring my lived experience as a trans person and an autistic person to the table in my practice, and I also bring a deep desire to see our community grow and heal together. I’ve had 8+ years of therapy myself as a client and it’s been a transformational journey, so I truly believe in the power of counselling and the good it can do. I also know how hard and weird it can feel at times. I’ve worked in NHS services for 4 years, in the charity sector for 7 years
Qualified integrative-psychotherapist registered with the BACP. I work online and in-person in the Enfield and Wood Green areas, providing a safe and non-judgemental space where we can explore your story and your concerns at your own pace, built together in a way that suits you and focuses on your needs. I counsel many types of clients, with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, neurodivergence, relationship and family problems, illness and disorders. My goal is to help you with the difficult thoughts and feelings you are experiencing and help you achieve the changes you wish to see.
I’m a BACP registered psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in integrative counselling. Based in Greater Manchester, I support adults and teens with a range of issues, including anxiety, stress, low mood, relationships, and identity. My core approach is psychodynamic, exploring how past experiences shape your present, while integrating techniques from CBT and person-centred therapy to meet your unique needs. I offer a compassionate, tailored space to help you gain insight and create meaningful change. Whether you’re navigating challenges or seeking personal growth, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I’m experienced in helping people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness or sex and relationship difficulties. I’m a lead psychologist for NHS services and have a background in specialist services for sexual health. I understand how looking for a therapist can be daunting, possibly quite overwhelming. I therefore offer a free initial telephone consultation of 15-20 minutes. This gives us an opportunity to talk about what you’re struggling with and how I could help before deciding whether to book further sessions. I’m currently accepting new clients for online therapy on weekday evenings.
I am an experienced Psychotherapist and a qualified Clinical Psychologist from Brazil with over 30 years of clinical experience offering Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to clients. Vast experience with addictions and domestic violence. I am also a Psychodynamic Clinical Supervisor of individuals and groups. My practice is queer and trans affirmative.
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with many years of experience. I have worked with clients who have come through the Pink therapy directory since the directory began.
My name is Jack Pijl and I was born in The Netherlands. I’ve lived in London since 2002 where I was able to come out as a gay man. I converted my career to become a psychotherapist to predominantly work with gay men to help them with the particular struggles this client group has. A great book by Walt Odets, ‘Out of the Shadows: the psychology of gay men’s lives’, made a great impression on me personally and professionally. I have been able to help many of my clients to make meaning of their often difficult journeys and stories.
