These are psychotherapists and counsellors. Although there is a separate category for sex- and sexuality-related practitioners, most therapists in this category will certainly discuss sexual issues, and many will work with them.
Hi, I’m Jamie, I’m an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist from the north-east of England in the UK, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), as well as a graduate-chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). With five years of counselling and psychological support behind me, my focus being on those from minority groups, such as those in the LGBTQIA+ community, of which I myself are a part of, as well as those who may fall under the neurodiverse umbrella, diagnosed or not.* *Note that I can not diagnose, nor dispense medication.
I offer a warm, kind, safe, non-judgemental space for exploring whatever you’re bringing – whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or low, or navigating complex questions about relationships, identity, or sexuality. My therapeutic practice integrates IPT-trained interpersonal psychotherapy with anti-racist and non-oppressive principles. I work particularly well with individuals questioning their relationship patterns and wanting to improve their self-love and boundary-setting. As a mixed-race, pansexual person, I understand how these layers matter deeply. I welcome you exactly as you are and we will work together to find a way forward that works for you.
I’m Dan, I have a wealth of experience working alongside trauma (for all ages) for individuals and couples, to accept, empathise, and be curious whilst working with attachment issues. I have experience working with all ages, genders, sexual identities, queer identities, with focus on the LGBTQ+ community, being queer myself. Currently offering video therapy and Walk & Talk therapy (locally). I work with you, alongside you, not “at you”, going at your pace, utilising many approaches for what you might want or need.
I’m a bisexual, LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist with specialist training in polyamorous relationships and polycules. I offer one-to-one and relationship therapy, combining lived experience with professional expertise to support clients navigating identity, relationships, and life transitions. My approach is existential and phenomenological, focusing on your experience, choices, and values. I am a Master’s-level qualified, BACP-registered psychotherapist and counsellor, based in Fitzrovia and London Bridge. I take an active stance against prejudice and discrimination, creating a safe, inclusive space where clients can explore GSRD with clarity and care.
I am a qualified person-centred therapist and registered member of the BACP. I work with adults in Clapham (SW4) and online, offering a supportive, confidential space to talk openly and at your own pace. I believe therapy should be a space where your full identity is recognised and respected. As a gay and neurodivergent therapist, I bring both personal and professional insight into the complexities of sexuality, gender identity, and neurodiversity. I work affirmatively and inclusively, with curiosity and care for each client’s lived experience.
Hi, I’m Jess. I offer ISTDP and IFS-informed therapy from my office in Bristol BS5, 10 minutes from Lawrence Hill Station. ISTDP is an emotion-focused, trauma-informed and attachment-based approach with very positive research outcomes. I combine this with some IFS techniques and a gender and relationship diverse affirmative practice to bring lasting change to people struggling with anxiety or internal difficulties.
I strive to provide a safe and secure space for my clients to be able to explore with me the issues that have entered or are part of their current lives. I work with all genders and sexual orientations incorporating clients who are on the spectrum either diagnosed or undiagnosed. I see therapy as a joint project where we learn from each other.
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor and Accredited/Registered member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and Prof/Accred member of NCS (National Counselling Society). I am also a member of EMDR Association UK.
I am experienced and easy to talk to, and work with empathy and acceptance of difference, and the struggles we face in being human. This is my foundation as a psychotherapist. My focus is on appreciating each person’s emotional landscape, and attending to aspects that may be causing difficulty. I have identified as lesbian/gay/queer since I was 20 and lived as part of London’s diverse queer scene since then. I am familiar with the pleasures and pains of being LGBTQ+, and the changing cultural terrain.
I view therapy as a guide that encourages you to explore what you may have missed or ignored. I work with clients by encouraging different aspects of their personalities to find their voice. I support clients in engaging with these forgotten parts of themselves, helping them express these aspects so they can be heard, understood, and validated in a non-judgmental space. I understand therapy as an invitation to have
