My approach is human, practical, and tailored to you—because therapy should fit your life, not the other way around.

Hey, I’m Addam, a queer counsellor and psychotherapist working in Bristol and Bath. I also offer online and outdoor therapy sessions if you would prefer either of these. Whatever your reasons for seeking out counselling, I’m here to listen, aim to understand and to work collaboratively with you to create a space where you can process and explore what you need to at your own pace. Coming to therapy can be a daunting enough experience, without having parts of our identity stigmatized, infantilized, and misunderstood. I aim to create an understanding and warm environment where you can show all the parts of yourself free from judgement or having to explain basic terminology. I bring compassion and humour to the therapy space, and hope to build a collaborative and nourishing relationship with you, centering your unique experiences and perspective on the world.

I have been working as a BACP accredited therapist for nearly 2 decades and have extensive training and experience with GSRD: couples, poly (enm) and individuals, utilising integrative, person centred, psychodynamic psychotherapy / counselling. My training was initially undertaken at the Tavistock in Swiss Cottage, London. I work in private practice and have had many years of experience within a busy NHS setting.
