I am based online and in South and East London – I provide LGBTQ+ therapy and counselling for those who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, queer, questioning, polyamorous, kink, ace etc. I offer short or long term individual therapy for adults and my work is queer positive, sex affirming, collaborative and fluid. I work primarily with individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, however, this is not exclusively. My approach to therapeutic work is within an open and non judgemental mindset.

Sometimes we struggle with life.  We can feel anxious, stuck, unfulfilled; we can repeat unhelpful or destructive patterns, wanting to change but unsure how. Some of the issues I work with include: self-esteem, anxiety, relationships, intimacy, shame, depression, loss, sexuality.

At times, the reasons we seek therapy are evident, like experiencing a challenging or traumatic event, feeling disconnected or isolated, battling anxiety, depression, or struggling with unproductive behaviour patterns. However, on other occasions, the reasons might not be so apparent. You may perceive life as stagnant or lacking inspiration, or perhaps societal pressures and social constructs have become overwhelming. No matter what emotions you’re experiencing, we can work together to explore and understand them.

I am a counsellor working from rooms in Holborn/Chancery Lane and Hackney. I also provide counselling online.The largest part of my work is with Queer / LGBTQ+ clients, and I have previously worked with two LGBTQ+ organisations (Switchboard and East London Out Project). I have had additional specialist training from Gendered Intelligence and Pink Therapy. My core training is in humanistic counselling so I am trained in a range of approaches, but primarily practice using gestalt therapy. I am committed to a trans-affirming, queer-affirming, anti-racist approach.

It could include: more fulfilment at work, a richer life outside of work, stronger connections with others, healthier intimate relationships, or a better sex life.
