I’m Ben Ross (MNCPS Acc.), a Gestalt counsellor working right opposite Liverpool Street Station, London. I believe that therapy allows you to take a more active role in understanding and experiencing your emotions, thoughts and beliefs. When we are not aware of our patterns, it can mean we act out certain behaviours, or experience certain feelings, without knowing why. And while we might be able to tolerate this for some time – perhaps even for a long time – I believe there is a difference between simply surviving and truly living.

Hello, I’m Rachael. I’m an LGBTQ-identified Person-centred Psychotherapist (UKCP Registered) with twelve years’ experience of working with clients. I have extensively worked with LGBTQIA+ clients exploring their life experiences, sexuality and gender identities as well as working with clients who identify as asexual/ace. I have experience of working with clients who have wished to work with an LGBTQ-identified therapist to discuss life experiences not necessarily connected with their gender or sexuality.

I’m a trans woman and I trained as a therapeutic counsellor because our community deserves help they can trust. We’ve all experienced having to explain ourselves to non-LGBTQ+ people who just don’t ‘get it’. I believe everyone deserves a therapist who understands them without judgement.
