I’m Ben Ross (MNCPS Acc.), a Gestalt counsellor working right opposite Liverpool Street Station, London. I trained in counselling at the Gestalt Centre, London, and am an accredited registrant member of The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I am also an advanced trainee in Gestalt Psychotherapy. Having worked with gay, trans, non-binary, consensually non-monogamous, kink-affirming and other queer clients, as well as neurodiverse people and people with disabilities, I bring an understanding of diversity awareness and affirmative support, that begins from where you are.

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist and my approach to therapy has been informed by both person-centred and psychodynamic approaches, alongside attention to what our bodies might hold and can tell us. This means that as well as recognising you as the expert on your own experiences, we may look back at some of your early and family history and how those relationships may be influencing what is happening for you in the present. 

I understand the decision to seek counselling can, in itself, be a difficult one. The many challenges of navigating life often result in difficult feelings. I am here to help you to make space for a healing therapeutic relationship, to assist in recognising the impact of past experiences and their continuing effect on your quality of life. I am a Gestalt Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, whose practice is guided by the belief that healing happens not in isolation, but in relationship- to ourselves, each other, and to the wider social field we are part of. I’m Emma Wallen, a double-accredited and award-winning integrative couples therapist working with queer individuals and couples, including lesbian relationships and partners navigating non-normative relationship structures. Many of the queer couples I work with come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of conflict, emotional distance, or power struggles that don’t fit neatly into heterosexual relationship models. Others are carrying the impact of family rejection, cultural expectations, racism, or the pressure to “get it right” after working so hard to be themselves. Therapy can be the first place where those layers are truly seen together. My approach is relational, grounded, and practical.

Hello, I am Chartered Psychologist and Associate BPS Fellow bringing NHS and private practice therapeutic experience to my client work.   I have expertise in LGBTQI+ and Gender Sexual Relationship Diversity (GSRD) affirmative therapy, neurodiversity (autism and ADHD), and men’s (gay and straight) mental health. I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, attachment issues and relationship challenges. I provide trauma informed care integrating ideas from different therapeutic approaches to meet each individual’s unique needs.

I am a non-binary, LGBTQ+ affirmative psychodynamic therapist. I am passionate about making informed, non-judgemental therapy accessible for trans and queer communities. The way that I work focuses on the connections between our past and present relationships and experiences. By exploring how we have become stuck in unhelpful patterns, psychodynamic therapy can help us to recover a sense of choice and freedom in the way that we move through the world and relate to others. My approach also takes account of the importance of identity and cultural background in shaping our experience, and the intersections of oppression and mental health.
