Hi!  I’m David and I’m an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and  I work with therapeutically with children, young people and adults. I run a private practice in the heart of Whitley Bay in the cozy top floor of a Victorian terrace house which is readily accessible by bus and metro and there is plenty of roadside parking outside.  My practice is set up for talking therapy and also for more creative work.  I offer clay, paint and art materials and I have a sand tray for those clients who prefer to also work with their hands.  Within the practice there is

I work exclusively queer and trans, as well as often neurodivergent adults around long term mental health struggles, trauma, anxiety, self-worth, and identity. I work online with people across the UK. I’m from a northern, working-class background and have lived experience of mental health issues and disability.

My name is Jocelyn, I am a trans, AuDHD Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, and a GSRD specialist. I frequently work with gender, non-monogamy and kink within my therapeutic practice. I am neurodivergent affirming, meaning you won’t be pathologized for how your brain functions. I enable clients, both individuals and intimate partners, to create relationships with themselves, each other and with sex that they want, in a way that aligns with their identity. I also work with clients who are gender, sexuality, and relationally diverse (GSRD) and want to work with a therapist who is affirming of their identities.
