Dr Anthony Furlong
About the Therapist
I am going to help you through
being warm, attentive, and showing genuine care. I create a safe and welcoming space where you feel seen and understood, while adapting flexibly to your unique needs and pace. I don't work with 'cookie-cutter' approaches to therapy, but instead in a way that is flexible, collaborative and tailored to you. I view therapy as a co-created process, walking alongside my clients as we explore challenges, uncover strengths, and build new pathways for growth and healing.
In our sessions we will
focus on the topics that feel most important to you. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a way that is safe and respectful. I’ll tailor our work to your needs, your personality and the nature of the work, and move at a pace that’s comfortable for you. There’s no right or wrong way to show up - this is a space free of judgment, where your voice and your goals guide the process.

I work integratively, which essentially means that I'm trained to use different approaches and tools based on you and your needs. This brings flexibility to our online therapy sessions.
I am trained to work in a variety of ways and across different areas such as anxiety, depression, attachment styles, sexual health, addiction, body image and relationships.
Above all my approach to therapy is collaborative. Together we create therapy and a therapeutic relationship that works for you to heal and become the version of yourself you want to be.
One-to-one therapy will help you better understand yourself and your relationships with others and feel more in control of your life and connected to yourself and those around you.
