I’ve spent more than a decade supporting people through traumatic and difficult times, including five years focused on LGBTQ+ mental health and wellbeing. For many years I managed a national LGBTQ+ listening service, specialising in supporting people affected by domestic abuse, sexual abuse, suicidal feelings, and conversion therapy.
I’m Georgie (she/her), a compassionate and LGBTQIA+ affirmative counsellor offering face-to-face therapy in Bristol and online across the UK. I offer a warm, inclusive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace. My practice is neurodivergent-affirming and anti-oppressive, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your individual needs. I believe everyone, regardless of age or background, deserves the space to be seen, heard, and supported in the counselling environment.
What would you like to talk about today? It’s a common enough starting point in counselling sessions, but it is rarely a question with an easy answer. I offer sessions at Brixton, London Bridge and via Google Meet, offering short-term and long-term counselling, and offer a free half-hour initial appointment.

Hello, my name is LV (they/ them). I am a queer counsellor offering online sessions. No matter what you want to explore in therapy, I will listen with empathy, and help you to better understand your experiences and options. My training is in integrative therapy, and my own queerness informs how I think and how I work. I draw on different approaches; our work together will evolve and be shaped by what you need. Hi I’m Mel. I’m an Integrative counsellor working online via Zoom. My specialist areas are in domestic abuse (and also in eating disorders, please see my other profile). I can help explore anger, shame, violent behaviour, abuse, coercive control, manipulation, narcissism, and more – for those who have perpetrated or have been a victim of these behaviours. I have worked on perpetrator programmes in group settings and 1:1, and utilise these experiences in my counselling work with individuals who would like to understand and change their behaviours.
As an LGBTQIA+ psychologist from Tahiti and France, I am passionate about providing therapy that is culturally sensitive and empowers everyone to lead more fulfilling, vibrant and authentic lives. I help clients understand how the past informs current patterns, develop coping skills to process difficult feelings, and grow the internal strengths and resources that we all hold. I work with people who experience a wide range of emotional, contextual or relational challenges. I also have specialist training in OCD and Trauma. Working in a person-centred and integrative way, I draw on therapies that include acceptance, compassionate, cognitive and exposure-based therapies.
My practice flourishes because I create a diverse and inclusive environment for everyone, and believe in and support the experiences of underrepresented people. I have 7 years of experience as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working at depth, and am fully accredited with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). If you are trying to find your way through, but facing issues around your sexual, relationship or gender identity, either within you or from the outside world, you will find a space here that is affirming and inclusive. I work with individuals over 18.
