Welcome. I’m Em (She/Her) a qualified integrative counsellor and registered BACP BiCA (British Infertility Counselling Association) and Creative Counsellors member, providing short and long term individual and relationship therapy in York. I work to help people discover and accept who they are, what they want, to find their voice and make the changes they need to live a more fulfilling life. I provide inclusive, diversity-aware counselling, working respectfully and collaboratively across cultures and differences.
I’m a neurodivergent, queer and trans therapist. I know what it’s like to feel anxious, overwhelmed, low or just plain exhausted by trying to exist in a world that isn’t designed with us in mind. The things that affect you often affect me too — I don’t sit above you as “the expert.” Instead, I bring my own lived experience alongside my training and tools as a therapist.
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor offering LGBTQIA+ affirming psychotherapy and counselling to adults. I work with people across the full spectrum of sexuality, gender identity, and gender expression, including trans, non-binary, gender-questioning, and gender-expansive clients. Many of the people I work with are navigating questions around identity, relationships, or the emotional impact of living in a world that can feel invalidating or unsafe. I offer a calm, confidential, and affirming space where you do not need to explain or justify who you are. Therapy is shaped collaboratively and at a pace that feels manageable.
Hi, I am Victoria (she/her). I am a queer, neurodivergent, Level 2 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist. I offer IFS therapy to clients online, across the UK and internationally. My approach is queer-affirming and neurodivergent-affirming. IFS works wonderfully for LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent folks. IFS helps us connect with, and support the parts of ourselves that have struggled to exist in a world that is shaped by injustice and oppression. I am committed to providing therapy which is inclusive, non-pathologising and trauma-informed. This is a space for anyone who has felt misunderstood in mainstream therapy, seeking a validating environment and has
Welcome. Life can feel heavy or confusing, especially when you are carrying more than others realise. If you feel lost or stuck, therapy can offer space to slow down and reconnect with your true self. Reaching out takes courage, and even searching for the right therapist is already an act of self-care. I am proudly queer, and as a BACP registered and highly trained therapist I offer in person or online sessions, whatever works best for you. This is a confidential and fully accepting space to feel understood and move towards something lighter.
Starting therapy can evoke many different feelings and sometimes takes a lot of courage. I wanted to start by acknowledging that, and commend you on being here. If you feel like my approach may resonate with you, feel free to get in touch for an initial consultation. I have always been fascinated by the human capacity to grow, change and heal. As a therapist I see my role as facilitating a unique space for you to make sense of your life. During sessions you can explore whatever comes up, and we will work together to understand your inner world better.
Are you looking for somewhere to think and talk in confidence about issues that are affecting your life and your happiness? Relationship issues – self-esteem – anxiety – depression… I have over thirty years experience as a therapist working with clients from all walks of life and with many different sexual and gender identities. I have carried out research into gay mens’ experiences of therapy, and know from first-hand experience that even though we live in supposedly enlightened times, there can still be a lot of ignorance and prejudice aimed at people who don’t easily fit in with whatever happens
I currently have online spaces available. I am currently offering online and telephone therapy. Please feel free to get in touch if you wanted to discuss what working together might look or feel like. I offer a free 30 minute consultation and I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have. A little bit about me! My is Daniel (he/they). At the heart of my work is incorporating LGBTQ+ affirmative approaches, Buddhist Psychology and spiritual practices for wellbeing, social justice and collective liberation. I’m privileged to have worked with many diverse clients of different ages, genders, ethnicities, sexualities, abilities,
