I have over 20 years’ experience in the caring professions and a Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy. In our sessions, we will work together to build a safe and secure environment; where you don’t feel judged, and you have the freedom to explore which ever issue you’ve come to therapy for.
I am a genderqueer femme lesbian therapist, specialising in work with adult queer and trans clients. My practice centres people whose lives sit outside the default setting: trans and non-binary folk, polycules, kink practitioners, queer migrants and people of colour, and anyone still discovering how they wish to live and love. Alongside clinical work I have lectured on LGBTQ+ mental health at postgraduate level and run group sessions for LGBTQ+ people of colour to share their stories together. Therapy with me is spacious and practical. Some weeks we focus on day-to-day coping — sleep, boundaries, breath, nervous-system regulation. Other weeks
Specialism Adult ADHD/ADD, gender questions, transitioning support, PTSD. Additional areas cover themes such as existential life questions, family estrangement issues and depression & anxiety. Neuroscience and embodied felt sensory trained in addition to psychodynamic and humanistic integrative psychotherapy. Initial risk FREE half hour session to ensure therapeutic relationship will be the right one. I work more in the dialogic process and use of creative with the talking therapy. This means more relational and communicative in the curious questioning space rather than silences and long reflective pauses.

I’m proud to work with individuals from all walks of life, including LGBTQIA+ people, neurodiverse individuals, sex workers, and those in the kink and poly communities. Whatever you’re facing, I’m here to help you find clarity, healing, and a renewed sense of self.
Hello, I am Rick (they/them). I am a queer, bisexual, non-binary, and kink-knowledgeable integrative therapist based in Merseyside. I work online 1:1 with adults (18+), offering a calm, warm, and sensitive space to explore and work through any difficult thoughts, feelings, or situations they may be facing. My work is non-pathologising and neurodiversity-affirming. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, and as a GSRD therapist I am passionate about supporting people who are LGBTQIA+ and/or have diverse relationship styles. I am qualified and BACP registered. I am currently accepting new clients.
Coming to therapy can be a daunting enough experience, without having parts of our identity stigmatized, infantilized, and misunderstood. I aim to create an understanding and warm environment where you can show all the parts of yourself free from judgement or having to explain basic terminology. I bring compassion and humour to the therapy space, and hope to build a collaborative and nourishing relationship with you, centering your unique experiences and perspective on the world.
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist offering long-term, depth-oriented therapy. My approach is grounded in a commitment to thinking carefully about identity, power, and the complexities of the human experience — particularly around experiences of trauma, marginalisation, or relational rupture. I completed a six-year psychoanalytic training with the Society for Social and Critical Psychoanalysis, qualifying in 2021. This training emphasised anti-oppressive, critically reflective practice, and supported my work with people whose lives do not fit neatly into diagnostic or normative frameworks. In addition to my analytic training, I have completed further training in EMDR and trauma-informed approaches, which support my work
I work with ancestral patterns and transgenerational trauma through hypnosis and spiritual self-development. This work takes the roots of an issue further back than our own lifetime and understands the deeper cultural and inherited beliefs we carry, allowing us to release or transform energy and beliefs which hold us back.
