My name is Jessica and I am an Integrative Psychotherapist offering face-to-face and online sessions. I can offer a compassionate, warm, and empathetic space to explore your difficulties and what might be underlying these. I believe wholeheartedly in seeing the whole person and all aspects of their identity, practicing in a LGBTQIA+ affirming way. This includes attending to not just psychological processes, but the impact of living in an often difficult and unequal world and how this impacts us and ways of coping. I have a particular interest in working with issues related to body image and self-esteem. 

I’m a human first, therapist second and I bring that same realness into supervision. I’m warm, collaborative, and gently challenging, with a deep respect for the uniqueness of your practice. I work relationally and creatively, with room for humour, metaphor, and the messy bits of the work (and life). My name is Jack Pijl and I was born in The Netherlands. I’ve lived in London since 2002 where I was able to come out as a gay man. I converted my career to become a psychotherapist to predominantly work with gay men to help them with the particular struggles this client group has. A great book by Walt Odets, ‘Out of the Shadows: the psychology of gay men’s lives’, made a great impression on me personally and professionally. I have been able to help many of my clients to make meaning of their often difficult journeys and stories.
