These are psychotherapists and counsellors. Although there is a separate category for sex- and sexuality-related practitioners, most therapists in this category will certainly discuss sexual issues, and many will work with them.
Understand yourself to transform your life and relationships. I am a highly trained psychodynamic psychotherapist and recovery specialist with many years experience working in both clinical and corporate/organisational settings. Â My approach is unique in that I combine deep experience of these two worlds – the commercial and the clinical/therapeutic – so I understand and can help you manage the sometimes intense pressures of these challenging environments. My extensive training and lengthy and intensive personal therapy enables me to help you think about how your personal perspective or inner world interacts with your context and those around you.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist offering a compassionate, non-judgmental space for healing and growth. I work with LGBTQIA+ clients, people in non-monogamous or polyamorous relationships, and those who are neurodivergent. My approach is collaborative and affirming, rooted in respect for each person’s unique identity and experience. Whether you’re navigating trauma, identity, or relationship challenges, you’re welcome here just as you are.
I am an Italian man who moved to the UK 28+ years ago. At that time I began embracing more decisively my gay sexuality and also spirituality and decided to start training in Transpersonal Psychology (Psychosynthesis). At around the same time I joined Pink Therapy and never looked back. I am currently working with individuals and couples in private practice and also organise training workshops for both therapists, counsellors and GSRD clients based on the principles of Transpersonal Psychology and GSRD Therapy. “Don’t be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth”. Rumi
My name is Jack Pijl and I was born in The Netherlands. I’ve lived in London since 2002 where I was able to come out as a gay man. I converted my career to become a psychotherapist to predominantly work with gay men to help them with the particular struggles this client group has. A great book by Walt Odets, ‘Out of the Shadows: the psychology of gay men’s lives’, made a great impression on me personally and professionally. I have been able to help many of my clients to make meaning of their often difficult journeys and stories.

Hello, my name is Gareth, I am an experienced (BACP) British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy Accredited Counsellor and have been working in this field for over 10 years. I offer a calm and safe place for clients who are experiencing emotional issues and distress to talk about how they are feeling, and what is causing them concern. I use an integrative approach, which means I see everyone as unique, so the counselling techniques will be tailored to your needs and personal circumstances and will help you feel more resilient and able to manage current and future changes.
I view therapy as a guide that encourages you to explore what you may have missed or ignored. I work with clients by encouraging different aspects of their personalities to find their voice. I support clients in engaging with these forgotten parts of themselves, helping them express these aspects so they can be heard, understood, and validated in a non-judgmental space. I understand therapy as an invitation to have
I am a counsellor working from rooms in Holborn/Chancery Lane and Hackney. I also provide counselling online. The largest part of my work is with Queer / LGBTQ+ clients, and I have previously worked with two LGBTQ+ organisations (Switchboard and East London Out Project). I have had additional specialist training from Gendered Intelligence and Pink Therapy. My core training is in humanistic counselling so I am trained in a range of approaches, but primarily practice using gestalt therapy. I am committed to a trans-affirming, queer-affirming, anti-racist approach.
I enjoy supporting people to find ways of making sense of themselves and their lives that lead to greater wellbeing. I strive to create conversations and spaces that actively address oppression, celebrate diversity and consider the challenges resulting from societal expectations of what makes a good life.
