My name is Lorna (she/they) and I’m a Person Centred counsellor based in Gloucestershire. I am diagnosed Autistic and (combined) ADHD and I am also poly, Queer, perimenopausal and increasingly witchy (these things are almost certainly all linked). I offer remote (phone/video) and face to face sessions in Gloucester and Stroud, specialising in working with neurodivergent people and GSRD (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity). I am an Italian gay man who moved to the UK 29+ years ago. At that time I began embracing more decisively my gay sexuality and also spirituality and decided to start training in Transpersonal Psychology (Psychosynthesis). At around the same time I joined Pink Therapy and never looked back. Welcome – I am Senior Accredited Trauma Informed Counsellor/Therapist and  EMDR Europe Practitioner.   I have 15 years experience of offering affirming therapy to the individuals and couples from the LGBTQIA+ community and look forward to supporting you. What I hope to offer you is an approach which I want to be warm and refreshing and can really get to the heart of your issues.

After attaining my degree in Psychology, I trained to diploma level as an Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor. Since beginning practice in 2014, I’ve accumulated thousands of hours of experience delivering therapy sessions. Working both short term and long term with individuals, supporting them in finding ways to change their lives for the better.

I offer a consistent, supportive, sensitively empowering relational space in which you can come to meet yourself with renewed curiosity, navigate an on-going difficulty, recover from traumatic wounds, (un)learn patterns of relating and expand your repertoire for connecting. Through straightforward, warm and expansive conversations you can increase your capacity to outline and strengthen the contours of your sense of self (clearer boundaries, needs, wants, edges, wounds and pleasures) and develop a readiness to articulate these confidently when needed while retaining your ability to be surprised, to remain open.
