I am an integrative psychotherapist, working in a psychoanalytic framework (both in person and online). This means I draw upon multiple approaches to provide therapy informed by your needs. This might be short or long-term therapy, but will be deep work, for people who want to explore the roots of their difficulties.

Whether you need a compassionate listener or a deeply reflective and analytical approach, we will work towards your goals. In couples therapy, we can work together on a range of issues, including improving communication, managing conflict, navigating relationship transitions, and healing from grief or trauma.

I am a UPCA accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor. Since 2011, I have worked as a psychotherapist and counsellor, support worker and group worker. As well as my private practice, I currently work for a young person’s charity supporting young queer humans navigate the many complexities inherent in growing up queer in a society that still ‘others’ – alongside the more ordinary complexities of what it means to be human.

I offer in person, telephone and online sessions I offer 1-2-1 therapy and couples therapy. I have over 12 years experience working with the queer community as a individual and couples therapist. I have also been lecturing counselling and psychotherapy for over 7 years.

This means I understand the value of a non-judgmental, safe place to talk, where you can be heard and accepted within a genuine, safe, and compassionate therapeutic relationship. I work to create a safe place in counselling to support you to find your way forward, offering a relational, authentic approach, tailored to your preferences, strengths and needs.

Together, we can explore what’s going on for you in your life right now, the ups and downs of your childhood, or your joys and fears for your future. I work with queer people particularly and activists, and those affected by stress, burnout and insomnia.
