I am an Anglo-Arab UKCP registered Psychotherapist, Group Analyst and Clinical Supervisor with a Masters Degree in Psychoanalysis, History & Culture. I have been practicing for over 15 years with the majority of my clients feeling marginalised from society and/or alienated from themselves.   My work  has predominately focussed on questions about how to feel at home within oneself in a society that imposes ideas of normality and acceptability.  I understand how coming from a strict conservative upbringing can make the idea of therapy feel frightening and exposing.  My starting point is to create an environment where you feel safe

I started as a therapist in London, gaining experience in alcohol and drug addiction and intercultural therapy.  This allowed me to work with clients from various nationalities, faiths, sexual orientations and mental health concerns.  While in Singapore I deepened the experience by seeing individuals, couples, dyads and families for therapeutic interventions.  I complimented my experience by volunteering and attending to the needs of young adults and social workers within NGOs in Singapore.
