Hi, welcome to my page, My name is Jen and I am a fully qualified and experienced integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP. I am a fully qualified Integrative therapeutic counsellor, I utilise aspects of the Person-centred approach, Cognitive behavioural therapy, Transactional analysis and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. I currently run my own private practice as well as working within an agency that offers psychotherapy and DBT; where I support adults and young people who are experiencing complex mental health issues, exploring neurodivergence and entering DBT groups.

I offer a safe, warm, pragmatic and down to earth space where my clients can feel free to explore their issues, anxieties, fears, thoughts, feelings and fantasies without the fear of judgment or reproach. I offer a free initial consultation of 30 minutes in order for you to see if you would like to work with me or not. I also support people with Suicidal Ideation and those that wish to address addictions such as sex addiction, gambling addiction and drug and alcohol addiction. I have an extensive knowledge of 12 step work.  

I am an integrative psychotherapist, working in a psychoanalytic framework (both in person and online). This means I draw upon multiple approaches to provide therapy informed by your needs. This might be short or long-term therapy, but will be deep work, for people who want to explore the roots of their difficulties.

In couples therapy, we can work together on a range of issues, including improving communication, managing conflict, navigating relationship transitions, and healing from grief or trauma.

I’m Maria (she/her) – an intersectional queer, neurodivergent (ADHD), disabled, fat and polyam woman. I’m a BACP-registered integrative therapist working with children, young people and adults.  My focus is on offering a compassionate, accepting, empathic, nonjudgmental space that is radically focused on you. I offer in person sessions in Brighton & Hove and online sessions for humans elsewhere. I believe that: You were born good and innocent. You are not broken and you don’t need fixing. Hello, I’m Micheál (pronounced: mee-hol, pronouns: they/them/theirs) and I’m an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor based in Glastonbury, Somerset. The aim of counselling is to help you understand your thoughts, feelings and experiences, gaining a deeper understanding about yourself and empowering you to grow where you feel you would like to make a change.  Sometimes people come to counselling to process a recent major life change, sometimes to talk through immediate worries/issues and other people recognise a need to explore more longstanding issues. I have particular experience in working with people who identify as LGBTQ+ or GSRD (gender, sexuality and relationship diverse).

I have worked as a psychotherapist for the queer community for over 10 years. I am also also a clinical supervisor and trainer for MIND and the NHS. I am also a fully accredited BACP counsellor and senior psychotherapist (with  having completed a course in advanced psychotherapy which is part of a PhD programme at CCPE.) I am also an individual and group supervisor having qualified at the Institute of Group Psychoanalysis (IGA)
