My direction since childhood has led me on the quest towards my own inner freedom. This has led me in different avenues over the years.  First was the task to explore, accept and honour a sexuality that did not fit the hetero-normative framework. Being in a female body this lifetime and honouring the various genders that choose to express themselves during different life stages and seasons, to noticing and honouring the way my sexuality and my attractions have also not fit in, in the unspoken rules of the LGBTQI + community either.   Being an outsider, is something I have

I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy online in English and Spanish for individuals struggling with low mood, anxiety, self-esteem, and harsh self-criticism. I also work with people finding relationships difficult, whether in friendships, work, family, or intimacy – and with concerns around dating apps or pornography when these have started to feel compulsive, unsatisfying, or a source of difficulty.

I practice as an integrative therapist, with a particular focus on queer life, kink identities, poly and open relationships, as well as grief and loss. My practice is sex positive, kink-aware and poly-aware.  I am a cis-gender gay-queer man (he/him). I see clients in Walthamstow E17, Wimpole Street W1 and online.

Welcome. I’m Polly, I am a queer-affirmative counsellor working with adults who want to understand themselves better, explore patterns in their relationships and make meaningful change. Many of my clients are facing anxiety, low mood, or repeating patterns in their relationships. I work with an awareness of the impact of systems of power and privilege and am passionate about helping you find a way of being alive that feels true to who you really are – whether or not that is how the world wants you to be.
