Hello, this is a listing for the GSRD therapy groups that I host in Dalston E8 and Holborn WC1. These are small groups held in comfortable settings where the support and encouragement of other LGBTQIA people can help you express yourself, relate to others, and make deep and meaningful connections in a therapeutically held group. They are fortnightly groups for 2 hours with up to six people in a group. Email for more information and to join my waiting list.

I am a EMDR UK Accredited EMDR therapist with extensive experience of helping lesbian and gay clients process trauma. I am also a BACP Registered counsellor. I work in Central London (Kings Cross) and St Albans, in-person. I also work online. Many of my LGBTQ+ clients have specific traumas relating to their sexuality and how others have treated them. I offer both long-term and short-term therapy.

For many years, I didn’t believe in therapy. I thought friends and family could support us through difficulties and didn’t see the need for professional therapists.   But my views changed when a close friend went through a very painful period in their life and had counselling. I saw how therapy transformed them and began to think differently about it. I realised that, while the support of loved ones may be sufficient for some, for many it is invaluable to talk to someone objective, who is professionally trained to help.

I am an Integrative therapist this allows me to provide a reflexive therapy space that is tailored to each individuals needs. I work relationaly and with a person centered, trauma informed approach. I support a broad range of people and specialise in supporting people in the LGBTQ+ community. I am experienced in supporting Trans and non-binary clients.   I offer in person therapy for individuals in Hackney Central and Holborn, as also offer online therapy.    

Hi, I’m Ed, a Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, and Trainer with a specialism in DBT and a focus on the LGBTQ+ and GSRD community. Based in West London, I provide online therapy nationally, supporting clients with complex trauma, dissociation, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. My integrative approach blends psychodynamic and person-centred therapy with DBT and EMDR. I also co-facilitate a DBT Skills Group, teaching emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I am an older gay man, originally from America, and have lived in the UK for over 20 years. I see couples and individuals in rooms in Kentish Town, and on Zoom. I have worked in the arts, the corporate sector and for a number of US and UK charities, and also work as an organisational psychologist for various organisations.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy in online sessions, with availability from 8:30 am t0 9:30 pm, on weekdays. I’m atypical as a person and I am BDSM and Kink knowledgeable and affirming. Diverse relationship arrangements and lifestyle choices are understood as natural human ways of living.  I specialise in providing effective therapy and coaching for neurodivergent adults, and I train other therapists to do this, too.
