I am a cis-gendered gay man and a BACP Accredited Integrative psychotherapist. I work with clients of all backgrounds, cultures and diversities. With over 5 years of experience with working therapeutically with LGBTQIA community as well as people of colour and marginalised groups. I am experienced in working with issues such as anxiety depression, shame, loneliness, chronic pain, homophobia, marginalisation due to racism, as well as issues related to gender and sexuality.

I understand the decision to seek counselling can, in itself, be a difficult one. The many challenges of navigating life often result in difficult feelings. I am a Gestalt Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, whose practice is guided by the belief that healing happens not in isolation, but in relationship- to ourselves, each other, and to the wider social field we are part of. My Gestalt approach offers a holistic, creative and embodied (meaning ‘felt and lived’ through the body) way to make sense of your challenges and difficulties. I’m Emma Wallen, a double-accredited and award-winning integrative couples therapist working with queer individuals and couples, including lesbian relationships and partners navigating non-normative relationship structures. Many of the queer couples I work with come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of conflict, emotional distance, or power struggles that don’t fit neatly into heterosexual relationship models. Others are carrying the impact of family rejection, cultural expectations, racism, or the pressure to “get it right” after working so hard to be themselves. Therapy can be the first place where those layers are truly seen together. My approach is relational, grounded, and practical.

Hello, I am Chartered Psychologist and Associate BPS Fellow bringing NHS and private practice therapeutic experience to my client work.   I have expertise in LGBTQI+ and Gender Sexual Relationship Diversity (GSRD) affirmative therapy, neurodiversity (autism and ADHD), and men’s (gay and straight) mental health. I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, attachment issues and relationship challenges. I provide trauma informed care integrating ideas from different therapeutic approaches to meet each individual’s unique needs.
