I am an experienced Psychotherapist and a qualified Clinical Psychologist from Brazil with over 30 years of clinical experience offering Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to clients.  Vast experience with addictions and domestic violence. I am also a Psychodynamic Clinical Supervisor of individuals and groups. My practice is queer and trans affirmative.

I provide space and time for you. Where you can talk through the feelings/issues that are troubling you and/or getting in the way of you relating to others.

I am a relational, integrative therapist working in Bethnal Green, London. I work with individuals aged 18+ in long-term, short-term and open-ended therapy. I am queer and genderqueer. My practice is actively queer and trans affirmative, which means that I support clients’ agency to define themselves. I work with LGBTQIA+ clients on a range of emotional and relational experiences, including: abuse, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, gender, isolation, loss, relational trauma, relationships, self-harm, sex, sexuality, trauma and more.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming and stressful. It can also just suck. I can offer  a space to talk about what you’re struggling with. You can feel heard and seen, without feeling  judged. Together, we can explore what’s going on for you in your life right now, the ups and downs of your childhood, or your joys and fears for your future. I work with queer people particularly and activists, and those affected by stress, burnout, neurodiversity, climate grief and insomnia.    

I’m Ian, a Person-Centred Counsellor and proud member of BACP and NCPS. After forty years travelling the world as cabin crew, I’ve witnessed the courage it takes to live openly and love authentically. I offer a calm, accepting space for anyone wanting to explore identity, connection, and belonging. My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and gentle challenge, enabling you to discover clarity, confidence, and the freedom to live truthfully.

My approach is a combination of trauma-informed parts work and creative exercises. I also believe that our struggles and beliefs often rest against a cultural, societal or religious backdrop and I often explore these aspects with clients.   I believe a lot of healing can happen through creative expression and shining a light on the narratives that currently drive us.        Exploring the parts of yourself that have been buried under layers of trauma or conditioning is never an easy journey to undertake alone.
