Hi there, I’m Chris, a cis-gendered gay man and chartered psychologist. As a psychologist, I specialise in all kinds of anxiety (including OCD), depression, panic disorder, trauma, workplace stress, loneliness and disconnection. As a gay man, I have further insights into the impact of shame, internalised homophobia, attachment difficulties and relationship challenges. For many years I have been very engaged with the LGBTIQ+ community, and so have an appreciation of the unique problems and challenges faced in the community.

I’m a CBT/REBT psychotherapist/coach. I work at Priory Roehampton, SW15, The Green Door Clinic, W1, and in Vauxhall, SE11. I identify as a cis-gender gay man. My work is focused on all mental health challenges, emotional, cognitive and behavioural.

LGBTQ+ Affirmative, Addiction and Trauma Informed.   My approach is psychodynamic, meaning that we will work in a way which explores links between past and present relationships and experiences. In particular, I can help you to explore how the impact of the past has led to the development of unconscious, repetitive patterns in the different parts of your life such as intimate relationships and work, which may have become unhelpful.  By becoming aware of these parts of yourself that may be hidden, more informed choices can be made and life can be experienced from a place of increased emotional freedom.

I work on the basis that we all make subconscious decisions in relation to our earliest experiences. Over time, patterns of thinking and behaviour emerge that we don’t necessarily have awareness of or control over. Without bringing them into focus, these patterns can lead to anxiety, problems in our relationships and a feeling that we don’t really know ourselves. I can help you identify these deeply rooted behaviours and regain a sense of agency and conscious decision making. Hi, I’m Dilya, a qualified counsellor based in London. I offer counselling services both online and in-person, with locations in Bromley and Beckenham (South East London). I specialise in supporting individuals through significant identity changes, such as parenthood, pregnancy, immigration, marriage, divorce, and LGBTQIA+ identity. Within these themes, I work through challenges incl. fertility journeys, miscarriage, termination, LGBTQIA+ issues incl. parenting, coming out, loss of meaning, mixed ethnicity, ‘third country kid’, assimilation struggles, feeling excluded, spirituality and loneliness.
