I have a wide range of experience working in the charity sector and more than 20 years experience working within the LGBTQIA community. I work with individual adults. Hello, I’m Roy. I’m a BACP registered Counsellor trained in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy and have been in private practice since 2023, after a long and very varied career in the tourism industry. I see clients online or in-person in Deptford, London SE8.  My practice is open to adults over 18, of all orientations, religions, races, sexualities and identities. I have particular lived experience and unique understanding of working with people who identify with the spectra of LGBTQIA+, kink, polyamory, multigamy (NM, ENM, CNM) and neurodiversity. I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and CBT Counsellor with training in Transpersonal Psychology and Therapeutic Group Facilitation. I am currently working towards a qualification in Psychedelics Assisted Psychotherapy. I believe we can heal from trauma. We have an innate healing intelligence, but things can get in the way of getting in touch with. I view therapy as a supportive, collaborative, creative process that creates the right environment for that innate healing intelligence to bring about emotional healing. I’m a queer cis-gender woman passionate about working therapeutically with gender, sexuality and relationship diversity. As an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, I’m highly experienced in providing evidence-based therapy tailored to your individual needs. I hold expertise in treating a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low self-esteem, and low mood, as well as work with people facing issues related to identity (including LGBTQ+ identities), relationships, sexual wellbeing, grief and loss.

I view therapy as a guide that encourages you to explore what you may have missed or ignored. I work with clients by encouraging different aspects of their personalities to find their voice.
