I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist and my approach to therapy has been informed by both person-centred and psychodynamic approaches, alongside attention to what our bodies might hold and can tell us. This means that as well as recognising you as the expert on your own experiences, we may look back at some of your early and family history and how those relationships may be influencing what is happening for you in the present.
I see therapy as an opportunity to explore, to challenge, and to develop new ways of being and relating. I engage with my clients in a real, authentic way, and invite them to do the same with me. I’m an experienced UKCP accredited Psychotherapist with over 14 years experience working in a range of mental health services.
