Hi, I’m Sam. I’m a relational psychodynamic therapist based in East London. I bring a curiosity in understanding how past experience influences the person that you are today, and provide a warm, accepting and collaborative space where we can work together to make sense of the questions or issues that you might bring to therapy. I work in-person from my cosy and welcoming room in Bethnal Green as well as online. My work with queer and trans people is affirming and I am committed to an ethical, inclusive and politically-minded practice attentive to understanding your experience in context.

I offer an LGBTQ+ affirming, trans-inclusive and neurodivergent-affirming space. As a neurodivergent therapist myself, I understand that safety and accessibility look different for everyone. My practice aims to always provide a flexible, responsive environment where diverse identities, relationships and lived experiences are understood and respected without judgement. Many of the people I work with are autistic, ADHD or late-identified neurodivergent adults, including those exploring or questioning their neurodivergence. Some have spent years masking, overthinking, people-pleasing or trying to hold everything together while feeling increasingly exhausted underneath. My sessions are a warm, relational and collaborative space where you do not need to minimise yourself

I’m a Queer Irish integrative psychotherapist. My style of therapy provides a safe space for LGBTQ+ clients navigating issues relating to identity, belonging, relationships and emotional overwhelm. My work blends attachment theory, trauma‑informed practice, and a strong interest in the neurobiology of emotion and relationships. Clients often come to me feeling disconnected from themselves, stuck in familiar relational patterns, or carrying shame. Together we slow things down, tune into what’s happening in the body, and build capacity for safety, connection, and self‑trust. I work primarily with LGBTQ+ adults, with a particular passion for supporting Irish expats in London.

I know that starting your therapy journey takes courage and therefore I offer a warm, empathetic and non-judgemental space to support you in taking those first steps. My approach is thoroughly trauma-informed as I place the safety and empowerment of all my clients as a priority. I am a queer affirming and anti-oppressive practitioner, with an intersectional and feminist theoretical lense.

I am an openly gay man offering therapy for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies, I’ve volunteered for the Leicestershire LGBTQ+ Centre for the last 5 years. It’s great to be able to give back to the community especially as I had counselling there myself in the past. I also volunteer at First Step a charity in Leicester who support Male survivors of sexual abuse.

I am passionate about providing a culturally sensitive therapy space for diverse folk who fall outside of normative cisgender, heterosexual norms, as I do. I want therapy to be a space where you can explore your gender and sexual identities as much or as little as you need to, alongside any other issues and feelings that are drawing you to seek support.

My name is Laurie May and I’m a non-binary counsellor and intimate partner therapist based in the UK. I work in Private Practice from Farringdon and New Cross Gate. I identify as queer and genderfluid. ​ After starting my working life as an actor, I began my counselling journey over 30 years ago as a Samaritan volunteer and spent 10 years working as a Counselling Supervisor at ChildLine. I managed METRO charity’s LGBTQIA+ Counselling service for 11-25 year olds, as well as being responsible for covering the adult service.
