Hi, my name is Abi and I am person-centred counsellor based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. I work with people aged 18+, and I can offer both in-person and online sessions. I also offer a concession rate for trainee counsellors.

I offer a calm, thoughtful space where you can speak openly about parts of yourself that may feel complicated, conflicted or difficult to share elsewhere.  Many of the people I work with appear capable and self-aware, yet feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, shame, or disconnection in relationships. I am particularly interested in how shame, identity, belonging and relational history shape our inner world and ways of relating.

Soma = the body. Somatic therapy is a bottom-up approach and often works well in place of traditional talking therapies, particularly for those of us who find it more challenging to put emotions into words. As a trauma trained somatic care worker, I include a blend of coaching and counselling to provide a human, relational and body-led approach to healing. I’m an HCPC registered counselling psychologist who works integratively and focuses on building a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to be yourself and explore your struggles. I want to work with you without pathologising your experiences and while considering how the society we live in might affect our mental health experiences, especially for gender, sexuality and relationship diverse individuals.
