I am a psychotherapist based in Tottenham, London with more than 10 years’ experience of working with people facing issues such as depression, anxiety and stress management, grief, trauma, relationship problems, low self-esteem, self-injury, sexual difficulties, living with neurodiversity and work-related concerns. Many of the people who come to see me are struggling with the consequences of painful childhood experiences. I have worked extensively with members of the LGBTQI+ community. I provide a confidential space for both individuals and couples to address their suffering. I see people in person or online. 

I am a counsellor working from rooms in Dalston, Hackney and in Holborn. I also provide counselling online.The largest part of my work is with Queer / LGBTQ+ clients, and I have previously worked with two LGBTQ+ organisations (Switchboard and East London Out Project). I have had additional specialist training from Gendered Intelligence and Pink Therapy. My core training is in humanistic counselling so I am trained in a range of approaches, but primarily practice using gestalt therapy. I am committed to a trans-affirming, queer-affirming, anti-racist approach.

  I am a queer, polyamorous, neurodivergent, disabled, kinky, trans man living in rural West Wales. 

I began my professional life working with children 0-16 years and their families in North Kensington in various settings. This I believe is the groundwork for psychotherapy as child/human development is the base for many counselling theories. It was an invaluable introduction to working with people from all ages,backgrounds and life experiences. I currently have 25 years experience as a counsellor/psychotherapist and my practice is based in Notting Hill ,West 11. I have been a lecturer in counselling and ran groups in many fields.

I’m Katie, I’m a queer, neurodivergent, pagan, and polyamorous Integrative Therapist & Counsellor. My work is neuro affirming, queer affirming, trans and non-binary affirming, kink affirming, and spirituality affirming.  For me this doesn’t just mean I did some training and I learnt to be non-judgmental, it means I’m passionate about affirming my clients know more about who they are and what they need than I do. It also means adapting my techniques and language when I need to, not to what the books say I should or the last client says I should but to what the client in front

I am a EMDR UK Accredited EMDR therapist with extensive experience of helping lesbian and gay clients process trauma. I am also a BACP Registered counsellor. I work in Central London (Kings Cross) and St Albans, in-person. I also work online. Many of my LGBTQ+ clients have specific traumas relating to their sexuality and how others have treated them. I offer both long-term and short-term therapy.
