Hi, Im Albie. I’m a queer/non-binary Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working short and long term with individuals, relationships and groups in Central London and Online. I use humanistic and psychodynamic approaches to work with a range of experiences. I aim to offer a safe and confidential environment within a healing therapeutic relationship that will allows us to reflect on your experiences and identify the obstacles you face. Through a process of exploration, reflection and relating, we will work together to make sense of your narratives, finding meaning and purpose, and mobilising the resources you need to facilitate change.

I am a highly experienced counsellor, supervisor and tutor working privately in North Cheshire and on Zoom. I work with adult individuals, couples and poly relationships and specialise in working with gender, sex and relationship diverse clients. I offer ongoing therapy for as long as you need. Typically sessions are weekly and last about an hour.

I’m a gay man and offer individual and relationship therapy for the LGBTQ+ community. I work in-person in central London, and online.

Alexis Caught is a BACP registered pscyhotherapist & counsellor, with a masters (distinction) in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy. His award-winning research studied the application of compassion focused therapy to treat chronic minority stress and compulsive sexual behaviours. He is the author of the best selling Young Adult non-fiction book “Queer Up, an Uplifting Guide to LGBTQ+ Love, Life and Mental Health” which was endorsed by the Reading Well Trust for its empowering and uplifting exploration and approach to sexuality, gender, identity and mental health.

I’m an integrative therapist using a blend of talk therapy (person-centred) and internal family systems therapy. Using these I try my best to focus on the individual needs of my clients, create goals and outcomes for them, and help them work towards whatever it is they want to achieve. I believe therapy can be a place for fun and play as much as it can be to go through difficulty together. I’m not offering a path of broken glass re-experiencing your suffering, but a path to confronting and healing the past to live freely in the future. My first session

I have many years’ experience with issues faced by LGBTQ+ people, from engagement in my community and volunteering. I welcome clients with diverse gender identities and sexualities, knowing you can feel comfortable that all of you is accepted in this space. My background is in the voluntary sector, in leadership roles in charities supporting people who are disadvantaged by their life circumstances. I’ve worked with disabled people and those with chronic health conditions, and seen how mental health plays a central role in management of everyday life. I’ve also worked with people in recovery from alcohol and substance addiction.

I am taking on both new face to face and online clients. I saw my first client in 1998. I see clients in Edinburgh city centre for face to face therapy.  I work Sunday through to Friday, appointments are available from 1pm until 9pm. I specialise in working with clients who want to counselling for Anxiety, Chemsex issues, Depression, LGBTQIA+ issues, Relationship issues. I have a special interest in working with clients who identify as male who are or have been victims of Domestic Abuse.
