Maybe Kink, ENM, or sex work has offered space to reclaim agency – and now, you want therapy that doesn’t ask you to explain that. You don’t need to justify yourself here – I already speak your language.

My name is Dale Kingwell-Warne, a cis-gendered gay man, husband, and parent. My life has been wide and varied, enabling me to embrace and be fully inclusive of you as an individual – with your own life experiences, wants, and needs .  I have faced many personal challenges, and understand how difficult things can be.  We will work together to make sure you feel understood, listened to, and supported.

LGBTQ+ Affirmative, Addiction and Trauma Informed.   My approach is psychodynamic, meaning that we will work in a way which explores links between past and present relationships and experiences. In particular, I can help you to explore how the impact of the past has led to the development of unconscious, repetitive patterns in the different parts of your life such as intimate relationships and work, which may have become unhelpful.  By becoming aware of these parts of yourself that may be hidden, more informed choices can be made and life can be experienced from a place of increased emotional freedom.
