My name is Jack Pijl and I was born in The Netherlands. I’ve lived in London since 2002 where I was able to come out as a gay man. I converted my career to become a psychotherapist to predominantly work with gay men to help them with the particular struggles this client group has. A great book by Walt Odets, ‘Out of the Shadows: the psychology of gay men’s lives’, made a great impression on me personally and professionally. I have been able to help many of my clients to make meaning of their often difficult journeys and stories.

Accepting new clients as space permits for weekday morning/afternoon appointments | Areas of specialty include low self-esteem, family of origin issues, childhood relational trauma, ADHD, difficulties with assertiveness, and exploration of sexual orientation and gender identity.
