I’m Maddy-Rose, a relational and trauma-informed psychotherapist offering one-to-one therapy in London Bridge, Paddington, Kings Cross and online. Therapy with me is a space to slow things down and pay attention to what’s really going on – especially when things feel confusing, overwhelming, or hard to put into words. I work in Private Practice from Farringdon and New Cross Gate. ​I identify as queer and genderfluid.  After starting my working life as an actor, I began my counselling journey over 30 years ago as a Samaritan volunteer and spent 10 years working as a Counselling Supervisor at ChildLine. I managed METRO charity’s LGBTQIA+ Counselling service for 11-25 year olds, as well being responsible for covering the adult service. I’m a queer therapist in East London, working with LGBTQ+ people and men struggling with addiction, chemsex, shame, low self-esteem, anxiety, codependency, and relationship difficulties. My approach is warm, relational, and trauma-informed, grounded in the belief that healing happens through authentic human connection. I’m Maithili (“mightily”), a BACP-registered psychodynamic psychotherapist. I work with GSRD clients, including those questioning or exploring sexuality and/or gender, and those navigating relationships, coming out, identity shifts, and family dynamics. I have particular experience supporting clients whose sexuality or gender intersects with race, culture, migration, or faith, who may be negotiating multiple cultural worlds. I offer in-person sessions in London (Harley Street, Mayfair and The City) and across West Surrey (Farnham, Guildford, Godalming and Haslemere), as well as online.
